After a short three hour flight from Los Angeles I had finally arrived in Jalisco, Mexico. With a bag full of film and my Contax camera snuggly tucked away in my messenger bag, I made my way through customs, and headed to the airport Starbucks where I was instructed to meet another workshop attendee. Blenda Montoro was already there waiting with her family. She greeted me with the kind of smile and hug that told me we would be instant friends. Like me, she too was excited about the weeklong workshop we were about to embark upon. After months of waiting we were finally heading to the Jose Villa Mexico Workshop.

Here are some of my favorite images from Day 2 scanned and developed by the one and only Richard Photo Lab.

A special thank you goes out to the amazing team of creatives who helped coordinate and execute this wonderful experience. The Mexico workshop will always hold a special place in my heart as will all of you. Thank you for sharing your passion for what you do and your unbelievable talents with us. The work you do is an inspiration and I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know and learn from each of you.
